Featuring a one-piece shell design, the Catalyst 5X4 goalie skates offer many of the same innovative technologies found within the flagship model. This goalie skate is designed for competitive goaltenders seeking unparalleled fit and comfort in the crease.

Skate Fit Profile

The TRUE Catalyst 5X4 Junior Goalie Skates come in sizes 1-3.5 in a regular width only. It is typically a good guideline to drop your shoe size by about 1.5 sizes to find your skate fit. The skate should fit snug around your foot for maximum comfort and support when pushing off.

Boot Construction & Stiffness Profile

The molded Nylon composite shell is designed by TRUE to improve the durability of the skate and keep it in good shape for longer. The Neurofit technology in the skate helps create a high quality boot, making it a reliable option for goaltenders to use. It also includes high impact resistance with improved shell layering, which makes the skate more durable.

Liner & Internal Padding

The 5X4 goalie skates features a clarino liner which is designed to improve foot lock & moisture repelling, to keep goalies feet dry during the game, so they can focus on making the next save. It also includes PU leather side panels which add skate durability, which maintains and holds the skate shape.

Tongue

These skates feature a lightweight laminated tongue which provides goaltenders with an enhanced level of fit & comfort. This tongue is designed to protect goaltenders from lacebite and with the lightweight build, it keeps the boot lighter while on your foot.

Steel/Runner & Blade Holder

Similar to other models in the 2024 TRUE goalie skate line, the 5X4 goalie skates feature the Shift Attack holder and stainless steel. This holder makes changing your skate runners out seamless and easy with the Bench Change technology. Additionally, the stainless runner is simple and designed to last longer than standard steel.
