To balance out the competitive performance of the TF9 with a more affordable price point, TRUE released the TF7 goalie skate. Sharing many features with the original, such as the TRUE Shell, FiberSHIELD technology, and a Shift Attack holder, the TF7 aims to bring out the best in every goalie, no matter the level.
Skate Fit Profile
The TF7 Junior goalie skate comes in Regular fit in sizes 2.5-3.5. When measuring skate size for the first time, a good guideline to follow is to drop the wearer’s shoe size by about 1.5 sizes. The skate should fit snug against your foot for maximum comfort and support when pushing off.
Boot Construction/Stiffness/Level of Play
The TRUE Shell one-piece thermoformable fibreglass shell is of TRUE’s own design and works alongside their FiberShield tech to create a genuinely high-class boot design. FiberShield can be found all across the boot’s construction and helps support your strides while keeping the boot tough and durable. The TRUE Shell is most prominent in the toe and wraps around the boot for additional reinforcement in that area and to provide ultimate protection.
Liner/Internal Padding
TRUE opted for a blackwick liner across the inside of the TF7 skate boot. This liner was used in the player TF7 and has amazing moisture-wicking and antimicrobial properties. The blackwick liner also works to greatly enhance comfort in the boot.
Tongue
The TF7 skate uses a traditional felt tongue with TRUE’s own innovative T-Guard. The T-Guard is used often in TRUE’s skates and is built to help protect against lace bite and impact.
Holders & Steel
The TF7 skate uses a Shift Attack holder coupled with stainless steel blades. The Shift Attack holder is furnished with new Bench Change technology, which helps make changing your skate runners out seamless and easy. The stainless runner is simple and designed to last longer than standard steel.
Graphics
The skate takes TRUE’s “True Blue” classic look for skates with the TF7. The slick black, blue, and white colour combination, along with the slipstream lines along the sides and shine on the tongue will help you look and feel great on the ice—effectively helping you play your best too.
